Operated by Loganair, the world’s shortest commercial flight takes place between the two Orkney Islands, Westray and Papa Westray, north of Scotland. The flight covers a distance of only 1.7 miles (2.7 km) and if the weather conditions are favourable, it can be completed in just 47 seconds.

THE HIGHEST BUNGY JUMP IN THE WORLD

Bloukrans Bridge Bungy is the world’s highest commercial bridge bungy at 216 metres (709 ft) above the Bloukrans River. It is situated at the Bloukrans Bridge on the N2 Highway at the border between the Eastern Cape and the Western Cape in the Tsitsikamma area of South Africa’s Garden Route. It has been operated by Face Adrenalin commercially since 1997.

The oldest: Mohr Keet, a resident from George, set a Guinness World Record as the oldest person to bungy jump when he jumped from Bloukrans Bridge on 6 April 2010 at the age of 96.

Mining executive Scott Huntly broke the world record for the most bungee jumps in a day when he jumped from Bloukrans Bridge 107 times in nine hours on May 11, 2011. Scott completed the project to raise funds for local communities.

Jellyfish, or jellies as scientists call them, are not fish. They have no brain, no heart, and no bones.
