Eisbein.
Now we are getting somewhere.
I wanted to test it by creating an entry for Atakwas.  I had read the FAQ & it is all a bit intimidating.  So I typed Atakwas in the search box &, of course, it failed to find anything.
However in the FAQ for a new page it gives:
"On some wikis, a failed search for a page will contain a link which allows you to edit that page."
Now if that was implemented as a stub for a page then I could, possibly, have started the ball rolling.  Next step would have been to edit the newly created entry.
I honestly think that once a wiki is started it could soon build into a fantastic resource & repository for really useful information - provided we can keep the damned trolls out.

That is the cool thing about it - the bad thing is that if I allow anyone to create / edit pages you have no control over what happens.
So you need to at least register yourself as a user before you can add/edit pages...

The admin behind MediaWiki is an absolute nightmare though - I'm still looking at different options...

Ek is darem bietjie PC literate.

Laat my bietjie oplees soos ek tyd kry.
