Prepared an area in our factory for a new acquisition.  Silly season is upon us. 6 Weeks before shutdown. One would think that by now the contractors would know better. Most have been around for many years. All of a sudden all the work is urgent. |

Kaark day yesterday. Got to wrk only to discover that we had been broken into. Managed to recover almost all the goods by visiting the local scrapyards. A lot of harse words said there with plenty of aggro from their side. A call to the police calmed them down quickly.
Their story does not pan out. it looks like old steel. No rust, newly worked and grinded. WTF. Now the sellers allegedly used someone elses ID too. Double WTF !!
The cops were next to useless, had to write my own statement.

Way to go Russel! Take the law in your own hands! I could not read what he had written. Cursive capital letters. Also he did not write what I told him but rather what he thought should be written. The scrap dealer told me yesterday that he knew who the suspects were. Today he has forgotten. Told the police if that is the case, then I want to open a case of possession of stolen property against the scrap dealer. Waiting for feedback now. |

Two suspects in custody. No thanks to the cops though. Geez, but some people can run fast, just a bit difficult to outrun a car. Nothing like an ankle tap to stop a man in his tracks.  |
