Ek het afgekom op 'n paar baie interessante kanonne en wil graag die inligting wat ek gaan inwin, met julle deel Hierdie is seker 'n draad wat net deur sekere belangstellendes gevolg gaan word Gantouw pas - kanon nommer 396 en 397 Die een van Swede (1790), die ander van Engeland (1740) - albei 6 ponders Dan was ons Saterdag na Franskraal toe gewees Hierdie kanon kom van die Birkenhead skip af Duidelik verwaarloos Eintlik gaan soek na die kanon by Gansbaai hawe, maar niks gevind nie - baie teleurgestel, maar sal soek tot ons hom kry
