I currently use 2600 mA batteries but they don't seem to have much life. How long do they last ? Does the type of charging/ Charger make a difference ? What rec0ommendations are there as to brands ?

I use the Energizer rechargeable batteries, AA and AAA for everything and they last very long, even if I take pics with
the flash, memory card will be full before the batteries are low.

I have an incredibly low opinion on anything Energiser = old Eveready.
There was a good thread about chargers etc on Wild Dogs http://www.wilddog.za.net/forum/index.php?topic=38455.0;topicseen

RustyB how old are your batteries ? Rechargeables can only be recharged so many times.

I use the Hahnal 2700 and they last a long time

RustyB

What charger did you end up with??

What shop at what price??

I am desperately looking for a Powerex Maha C801 charger, but cannot find it cheaper than R1200 in SA.

Amazon sells it at $56, but do not want to ship it to SA  sad

I found a charger that my wife had got with acell package a few years ago. Made by Hahnel ( Spelling ). Saw it on Wantitall for about R 500.00. Got rechargeable battery at HIFI CORP. 2700Mha. They were on special, 99.00 for   Scratch 3. I have marked them into sets. I bought six.
